When and where will these portraits happen?
We will have senior portrait sittings ON SITE in the Photo Studio (223) at Haven DURING THE SCHOOL DAY on TUESDAY, OCTOBER 28 and WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 29.
There is limited availability for these sittings, which are reserved for students who did not get their portraits taken in summer 2025 OR students who have reviewed their portraits and need a re-take. The scheduling tool will close on Monday, October 27 at noon to allow our staff time to issue reminders and passes for students.
These sittings include only the formal portraits.
How do I schedule my retake or first portrait sitting?
Use the link below to schedule your portraits. Each senior needs to schedule their senior portraits at the time that works best for you.
TIP: When you complete the form, use a non-school email address that you check regularly. Barksdale will send a scheduling reminder to this email address. (Your school email address cannot receive external emails.)
How much does it cost?
It’s free! There is no fee for your first sitting or retake.
Barksdale will send you proofs of your photos after your sitting, and your family will have the option to purchase photos if you choose.
You’ll also be able to choose your Haven Yearbook photo from the proofs of your formal poses. Barksdale will supply this photo to our yearbook team—again, absolutely free of charge.
What if I never received (or missed ) my first-take photos from this summer?
Barksdale supplied our yearbook adviser— Ms. Kate Plows and Mrs. Beth Cohen— with codes that will allow you to review your portraits at Barksdale. Email or speak with one of them!
What do I wear for portraits?
For your formal poses: The tux or formal drape will be provided by the photographer. Please wear a solid white t-shirt to wear under the tux or a dark-colored strapless shirt/camisole to wear under the drape.
What do I do if I missed the first sitting AND the re-takes? What if all the slots are filled and I still need a retake?
ALL SENIORS ARE EXPECTED TO SIT FOR SENIOR PORTRAITS.
You should reach out to Barksdale directly if you have been unable to schedule a session or retake. The studio is in Aston, and they may be able to help you schedule a formal session in-house.
Your senior portrait is important for the school’s archives and senior celebrations, as well as the yearbook. We will NOT be taking any late-breaking individual senior portraits in the Haven studio this year.
